how long should you leave between applying for cards?

Hi,

I applied for a Tesco Credit Card last night as I am looking to balance transfer my way out of debt.

This morning I have realised that the Egg Card may be better as it has 0% balance transfer but the main benefit is that the minimum repayment is only 2% per month, as against the standard 3% that you are given on most cards.

Would it be detrimental for me to apply for the Egg Card as well today?
Ie. might it be affected by the Tesco application, or could it even affect the Tesco application?

Thanks

You can apply for 2/3 in the space of a week/fortnight. More than that and your gonna see an impact.

After you have applied this time I would lay off applications for about 3 months or more if you have no need to apply.
  • Applied for egg card this evening, and application was declined ... oh well ... will be interesting to see if the Tesco CC application is accepted / rejected by post
