Switch without DDs?

Options
Are there any bank accounts I can switch my TSB account to that don't require direct debits and have no fees?

I can fund it with whatever is required each month by transferring funds.

Yes, the vast majority of UK banks support the Current Account Switching Service, or there's nothing to stop you moving to one that doesn't, although it'll involve more effort, so most current accounts fit your criteria.

None actually require DDs as a condition of holding the account (although some won't pay interest or perks if you don't have any) and very few charge (monthly fixed) fees other than for overdrafts, etc.
  • Assuming the OP wants to pick up a switching reward.

    Try NatWest/RBS Select current account.

HSBC requires either two DDs or two standing orders and pay you £175 for switching. However the offer expires in nine days. I had two SOs payable to accounts I had in my name in different banks and got the £175.
