They had not called off ZZPS. They were still harrassing me. They seem to have now referred it to a company called Marston.

Nasty firm - aggressive - rather like some worthless parking appeals companies.

Marston have today threatened to send an enforcement agent to my address in the next few days - is this even allowed if this matter hasn't been to court?

I thought bailiff's and enforcement agents could only attend once a matter has been to court? Am I wrong?

You are not wrong so complain to the BPA again and send a copy of the letter to Sheila (Herbie21 here) and see what she thinks.

This is exactly what has happened to us. They apparently rejected our appeal by email but we have never received it and now it is too late to go to Zoopla and it has been directed by BW Legal. I’m fuming! The fact that we paid for a parking ticket is an absolute joke!

PoPLA, not Zoopla.

Don't ignore anything from BW Legal.

Make the same complaints as the OP here was advised to do and point out this now appears to be a common problem.

Also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

We will be responding to BW once we have a court date but they have basically told us that we pay or go to court, we can’t dispute with them and NCP won’t respond to us.

I’ve started my own thread and will be contacting our MP.

However I wanted to just let the op know that she’s not alone. I felt like we’d missed something...first by getting a ticket when we had already bought a parking ticket and secondly by somehow not having received the appeal rejection. I’m disgusted that this is happening to other people but it does make me a little comforted that I’m not alone or going mad and this appears to be another tactic maybe.

Marstons (bailiffs) are nothing like BW Legal (standard glorified debt collector legal firm, not a bailiff, and easy to beat in court by putting in the research here!).

I meant what happened to us in terms of ncp not responding and then saying they’ve emailed a rejection and we never received it.
