Decent Cheap Laptop

HI can anyone recommend a good laptop in the region of up to £300 (preferably less).
Something with a good RAM and space. Just for general use, internet, emails, creating letters etc (no gaming). Nothing too flash but simple and hard-wearing.

Any good Black Friday deals?

Get a chromebook if you are just using it for the above. Also, one with a 'SSD' would be best. I just had a look, Currys has a few nice deals. I'm a newbie, so can't add any links for you, sorry.
