    Hi,
Don't forget one way to gain a coin or two is to do swapsies at work.
Or ask the cashier if they have £2 coins in the till.
My hubby will careful think about what cash he hands over so to try and ensures that he gets his 50p, I do the same for £2 coins.

Hello everyone. Hope you have had a good week.
No £2 coins for me. I have not been near the shops all week. Hubby hasn't come home with any either.

  • 3 at bingo tonight so happy to pot those safely with the others.

GemGem, my pot is also a boofle pot so that I can't get into it that easy (unless it breaks which it did last year). I've got the rainy day fund pot for my £2 coins and a "love you to the moon and back" pot which hubby got me for my birthday which is for any spare change/selling proceeds.

Claremylove, hubby and I have perfected the art of raiding my Boofle pot with a ruler. Have managed to empty it without chipping it.
I also have a spare Boofle pot as a back up. (Curtsey of hubby - wedding anniversary present). I have thought about putting plain £2 coins in one jar and picture ones in the other. I also have an authentic china glazed Mrs Potts and chip money boxes that I bought in USA when Beauty and the Beast was in cinemas in the 80's (sure it wasn't the 90's). I sometimes put 20ps in Mrs Potts.
Finally I hAve a chocolate fund money box which we put our road kill into. Nearly £50 again this year.
