Here is what was plastered across the front page of the RS website 1 year ago: https://web.archive.org/web/20181207150555/https://www.ratesetter.com/

As to the terms of the offer, they were:- Deposit and invest a minimum of £1,000 in to one of the three markets (Rolling Market, 1 Year Market or 5 Year market) and for it to be matched within the first 8 weeks of the account being created.
- Once matched the £1,000 will need to be on loan for a minimum of 1 year ( you can withdraw funds from your RateSetter account however the amount on loan cannot go below £1,000 in order to be eligible).
- Once the £1,000 has been on loan for 1 year, the system will then deposit the bonus into the Rolling Market within 30 working days of completing the year.
Did you sign up to different terms, if so what were they? It sounds as though you turned off automatic reinvestment, which meant when your loan(s) repaid early they were left in your holding account, which disqualified you from the promotion. That would be an error on your part.0 -
I have £155 stuck in ratesetter that they are unable to sell or unwilling to sell in order for me to withdraw it, they state that the loan parts are under £10 and have not given me any idea when i will be able to withdraw it, iv'e not come across this before as i have always been able to withdraw my funds has anybody else had this problem ?0

Yes, I was informed on this problem when they changed their terms a couple of years ago and I asked them to waive their fees and sell all of my loans. I was left with some shrapnel that was too small to sell out of, which I ended up just allowing to repay on the usual timescale.I have £155 stuck in ratesetter that they are unable to sell or unwilling to sell in order for me to withdraw it, they state that the loan parts are under £10 and have not given me any idea when i will be able to withdraw it, iv'e not come across this before as i have always been able to withdraw my funds has anybody else had this problem ?
If you look into the product(s) in which you've invested, you can see "Your money on loan" which has details of each contract and when it is due to repay.0 -
they have a £10 minimum investment so they can not buy from you and resell to someone else if the loan is less then £10(think its covered within the FAQ) but hopefully at £10 or less the loans will repay soonI have £155 stuck in ratesetter that they are unable to sell or unwilling to sell in order for me to withdraw it, they state that the loan parts are under £10 and have not given me any idea when i will be able to withdraw it, iv'e not come across this before as i have always been able to withdraw my funds has anybody else had this problem ?0
