Allay

Has anybody had any dealings with Allay claims limited?
I was contacted by them to say I had submitted an online request for them to check my PPI claims.
I had no recollection of this and did not recognise the email address they gave. I have been in contact and stopped any further investigations and in order to stop them demanding their commission I have had to report it via Action fraud. I was already in contact with the bank myself regarding the PPI claims but Allay want commission for this because it will be successful.
I have asked Allay to stop all investigation and they now have the cheek to charge me for time wasted.
This is a nightmare

Have you clicked any of those stupid adverts that read ‘this one weird trick to get back PPI’? Or something similar?

Have you clicked on anything on social media along the lines of ‘Rachel’s Money Advice’?

If so, they’re all Allay and they’ve been censured by the FCA for it

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
  • ALLEY sent me a letter in the post and i filled it in.... they have sent me a letter saying they have found PPI with black horse from 9 years ago and i will receive an offer in 24 weeks.
to me this is ace even though they take 24% as i would have never claimed this so anything is a bonus... anyone got an idea what i will get £5000 loan for a vehicle 9 years ago.
  • You'll get the PPI you paid, plus the interest, plus statutory, minus 24% for the stamp.

A swift turnaround considering the last PPI complaint was in August...

    Outrageously expensive.

Odd that the company have "found" PPI on a car loan from 2010 because the vast majority of lenders no longer offered it by that date...

It’ll probably be a ‘you MIGHT receive an offer in 24 weeks’.

I wouldn’t be counting your chickens just yet.
