Hi morning!
I took out a contract via Carphone Warehouse 7 months ago, and returned the device and cancelled the contract on the 11th day.
Was advised everything would be sorted and completed, however it was not and EE and Carphone Warehouse have both apologised and accepted that it's their fault.
I added my old address to my credit file and found EE had put 4 late payments and a debt outstanding on my Credit Report i have succesfully sorted everything out with EE and received £200 as a goodwill gesture, and they've advised me my credit report will be updated and everything removed off my report but does anybody have an idea when?
As my credit score has plumetted by 290 points.
Thanks.

Probably the next update cycle. Companies tend to update once a month.0

Also, don't worry that you don't get your points back once your file has been corrected.0

It's just annoyed me absolutely not my fault, i don't have any debt/credit cards etc and this gets lumbered on me.0

It's annoying, I can understand that. But the data on your credit file will be corrected in the next reporting cycle, that's the important thing. You got a £200 goodwill gesture, that's a nice bonus. If you're worried about the drop in the score, I've got loads of points you can have if you want. Really, honestly, don't worry about your score, it matters not one jot. It's the factual data contained in your file that matters, and that is in the process of being corrected. Go and spend your £200 bonus on a slap-up meal and some fancy cocktails and enjoy it :-)0 -
Thanks for all the comments and replies, i appreciate them hugely.
Take care all.0
