Can I ask why the desperation for it to be Tesco?
*Shrug* I already accumulated multiple credit cards over the years from all the main cc providers, so I may face this potential wait whichever one I chose. I also do most of my spending on my Tesco cards so it seemed natural to explore continuing with this one.
That having been said - I guess there is certainly no harm in trying other providers. They can only say NO
