first time buyer status

i'm looking for some advice regarding a right to buy purchase i have. the tenancy is currently under my name however i also wish to purchase an additional property ( much higher value) and thought it would be more cost effective to purchase the 2nd property as first time buyer.
could i put the spouse on the RTB purchase so then i would still be first time buyer? i can also get a higher mortgage and that is also one of the reasons

    Your in social housing and can afford to buy 2 properties?

    Either esy the RTB can only be aplied to the tenant.

    So this would be you and this would remove your ftb status once purchased.

    Assume you plan to rent out the bigger property?
  • sorry i meant purchase in the future so no cant afford 2 properties at the moment.
    no i want to rent out the flat were the RTB is.
    does the other spouse lose ftb status then?
