New phone G6 or G7?

Used to have a Moto G which I liked but filled the memory.
Currently have a Xaiomi Mi A2 Lite but don't really like it.

Tried a Motorola G6 and liked it but sent it back as there was a problem with it (eBay refurb)

Thinking of trying again on Black Friday for another G6 but then saw the G7

Which is the best choice?

If you are ok with the slightly larger size then I would go for the G7. It has more ram and runs the next version of Android out of the box.

Both are good phones and it will come down to the price.

A quick look on gsmarena told me that the G7 was a few mm smaller ... or did I look at the wrong model?

G7 prices should come down as the G8 has been released.

    CPW has them

What's the difference between G7 power and G7 plus?

I presume that the G6 plus that I tried is 'last year' is it?

G7 POWER has a bigger battery

G7 Plus better processor & camera and NFC

    Many thanks

Battery is not usually an issue with me, so better phone is probably my choice.

    Now, where to look?

On line preferred as we 'only' have Argos in our local town.
  • If not charging your phone every night is important to you go for the G7 power mine lasts 3 days sometimes..great phone for the price

I have never been unable to charge my phone overnight, so, that's not an issue, thanks.

You can't actually link to a shopping basket, we just see an empty basket...

I guess you are trying to link to https://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/brand/motorola which is £20 a month for 24 months but if you claim cashback on five different dates it might become £3.50 a month and there might be £30 topcashback as well....

Or of course you might mess up of the company will refuse to honour it in which case you are stuck with the full bill...

Rather mute at the moment anyway as you can't add it to your shopping basket (or at least I can't).

Shame the moto g7 power has no compass. Irritating ommision.
