BT new phones packages-cost

Had email from BT offering 24 mth for same price broadband renewal. I have no idea what the new phone add on is. Looking at BT it gives no prices just 500 option, or unlimited . Does anyone have idea of additional cost. I pay £9 ish for anytime. Many thanks

All new BT landline call packages are now anytime deals. The previous Weekday, Evening, and Weekend distinctions are gone. Deals are now distinguished by the number of inclusive calls per month: none, 500 minutes or unlimited.

All deals with inclusive calls include calls to UK landline numbers starting 01 and 02, non-geographic numbers starting 03 and 05, as well as UK mobile numbers starting 071 to 075 and 077 to 079. The 60 minutes per call limit is also gone. As before, landline and mobile numbers allocated in CI or IoM are excluded from allowances.

Numbers starting 070 are excluded from allowances and are 5p per minute at all times. Numbers starting 080 are free.

For non-inclusive calls to 01, 02, 03, 05 and 07 numbers there are no longer any connection fees, just the per-minute rate, and this is usually 20p per minute. The Access Charge for premium rate numbers starting 084, 087, 09 or 118 is also 20p per minute and these calls also incur an additional Service Charge, as before.

Calls to premium rate 0845 and 0870 numbers are still included in allowances, while most other providers no longer do so.

This is a major set of changes and yet it received no press coverage whatsoever.
