How is the chain doing?

We are currently buying a new house, and selling for the first time. Our sale is going very well, as s our part of the buying process. However, who do we chase to find out how the rest of the chain is getting along? Should it be the estate agent who our new home is listed through or the conveyancing solicitors?
This part is very new to us so sort of trying to find our feet!
Thanks!

Estate agents would be a lot quicker. And I would be checking with the estate agent you are selling with, as they are the ones you are paying.0

Hopefully your EA (the one you're selling with) will have a proactive sales progression team who will be in touch with all the other EA's and conveyancing solicitors in the chain (and obtaining a regular progress report).0

Thank you both. We are slightly different in the way that we can break the chain and stay with family if ours sells before our purchase completes. However, I don't want anyone thinking they can rest on their laurels 😂Be Kind, Work Hard, Stay Humble, Smile Often, Keep Honest, Stay Loyal, Travel When Possible, Never Stop Learning, Be Thankful Always and Love0
