    Bo is reissuing cards to punters who opened an account before 3rd January.

    I received an email from them today:
    Due to a change in regulations designed to make paying on your card safer and more secure, we’re sending you a new card.

    [...]

    You’ll also notice your card no longer features a signature strip. Chip & PIN is now the main way of securely paying with your card.

    Signatures are less common now and are less secure. We are one of the first banks in the UK to remove this function.

    As far as I can make out, the only difference is that old cards have a signature strip and new cards don't.

    I added £1 to my Bo account at the beginning of December 2019 and forgot about it. (The novelty of having) Bo soon wore off. :rotfl:
