Renew contract

Just received an offer from EDF to extend online tariff from March 2020 to Aug 2021 and they will refund exit fees.Should I accept?

    Do your own sums and use a comparison site using your actual consumption figures to see if EDF are the best deal going forward.

  • I got the same email, it made me instantly dubious. I checked on Uswitch and prices are lower than this contract.


    So no, I will not be taking them up on the offer.

    What do you mean by "they will refund exit fees"?

    Consult a comparison site to find what is the best option for you.

    Choose a fixed tariff if you want to avoid uncertainty of tariff price changes

    Because you're changing contract mid term they'll charge you the exit fees, but then refund them.
