Balance Transfer

Hi all,

I am in a tricky situation at the moment. I currently have £1872.59 outstanding on my PayPal Credit account. I also have an AMEX Preferred Rewards Gold that is paid off. My limits on these are around the £4,000-£5,000 area.

My issue is that due to dental issues, I need to get another £7,410.84 to pay for treatment. Since I am earning minimum wage at the moment (I am 21 years old), my limits tend to be low(?), but 100% of my income is disposable due to living with my parents.

Does anyone have any recommendations on some low-fee, high limit cards or another method I could use? Thank you...

I think your main challenge is income related. You could always apply for a card, but there is no guarantee that you would get a high limit. What bank do you use? Maybe try getting a credit card with them, they at least have a history for you.

You could get NHS dental treatment then you would save the £7,410.84. A 21 year old earning minimum wage should not need to pay that sort of money out to a private dentist.
Not sure how a 21 year old on minimum wage was eligable for the Amex preferred rewards gold card as their first and only credit card, but perhaps if you are looking to save money you should ditch this card with it's £140 annual fee.
The title of this thread is 'Balance Transfer'. You have no credit card balance to transfer. You cannot do a balance transfer to PayPal Credit.
