The Claimant however operates a business that should account for and have these skillets in abundance. I therefore see that they have no reason at all for not providing me with the papers in this case so that I am able to respond to any evidence they provide.
Other cooking implements are available.  Did you send copy of that to the claimant as suggested by @Johnersh?
Ha we did correct the typo!  We are trying to email them too, but the emails keep bouncing back!  very frustrating.  We sent the court bundle to them via post though so they should have that.

Pretty sure they have an email address starting 'legal6@' that BrownTrout has posted here before?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Maybe they have one (or more) for outgoing and one for incoming.

Just a quick update/moan.  We still haven't heard anything from CEL, despite the case being due to be decided on papers on Friday.  We're going to email the court again to update them on this.  This appears to be a dreadful mishandling of the case by CEL - do they usually do this?  It's incredibly frustrating that the defendant has to invest so much time in this and CEL don't even bother to share papers.

Certainly you should inform the court if you are waiting for witness statement and evidence and it has gone beyond a time set by the court.  If it is to be decided on papers, rather than a telephone hearing, I would assume the court has all the papers it needs.  What are you still waiting for?

We so far haven’t received a thing from CEL despite the deadline of 1 may for sharing papers with other parties. We shared our papers with CEL for example. So I await any shred of evidence that CEL actually intend to rely upon. I added to our witness statement that CEL had not sent us anything and we have told the courts. I expected to receive something from them given the court order to share information with the other side - that would have also given us chance to respond to anything they provided, if they have provided anything at all.

Maybe a direct e-mail to the court asking for the case to be struck out due to the claimant failing to comply with the court order to serve witness statement on the defendant (you) by the due date.
