Running old Intel Kit? READ.

https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/11/18/intel_ditching_dusty_drivers_and_bios/

" Intel is removing drivers and BIOS for its old desktop boards so anyone running an old Pentium-based PC has four days to get hold of anything they might need. "

Really refers to really old stuff, but if you have old Intel Bios or Pentium gear, read.
I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

What a joke, they saved like £10 in hosting fees for unquantifiable loss of reputation.

Unquantifiable loss of reputation? Are you seriously saying that somebody out there is looking for a driver for a Pentium II 400Mhz for Windows 98?

This is for the Intel boards only - those that were originally made by Intel, not the ones that were done by third parties like MSI, Asus, Asrock, Abit and friends are are all still available from the respective websites. Actually Abit is a bad example as they went out of business in 2008.

But realistically from a domestic point of view the hardware referred to is obsolete, the supported software Windows wise is obsolete and anybody still using it domestically should really have replaced it long before now. Business though is a different kettle of fish and there are no end of businesses who have ended up totally dependent on really old hardware that's the lifeblood of their revenue who will be dead in the water when it keels over and dies.
