Santander Credit Card & Apple Pay

Got a Santander World Elite card the other day from Santander.
Added it to Apple Pay, it's not showing any payment notifications through the Apple Pay system like any of the other cards I have added.
It just says this issuer doesn't support transaction notifications, check your Santander statement.
Anyone else seen anything similar?
Also the card quality isn't great, noticeably thinner than the debit card and a lot flimsier! Also had a lot of scratch marks along the top quarter of the card, no idea why.

I recently got a Halifax Clarity Card and it too is made from the more thinner plastic than a "standard" credit or debit card0

Same with the Natwest Black debit card. That has the same thinner more flimsy feeling too.0

Its weird some are made quite well - HSBC and Nationwide seem quite solid cards!
Wonder if its juts down to the manufacturer?
