Wealthify rejecting Cashback claim

Wealthify ran a promotion in June via MSE news letter, £40 cashback for £400 initial investment and then 6 months monthly investment. I clicked the link and have satisfied all the requirements. Now, after 6 months when I ask for cashback, they say promotion is expired and they can't track my MSE promotion hence I won't get paid.
Has this happened to anyone else. Other than escalate is there anything else I can do to prove my claim.
ps - Don't have 6 month back internet history to trace link.

The risk with any 3rd party cashback offer is that it doesn't track successfully and therefore isn't successful. Clause 12 in the T&Cs appears to cover this, so if Wealthify doesn't want to honour your untracked claim, it does not have to.
Did you not receive any kind of confirmation that you were eligible for cashback when you opened your account?0 -
No I haven't got any email confirmation for cashback, Didn't know I would to get an email.
Correct me if i'm wrong, usually you don't get email confirmations for cashback claims afaik.
Support said they will escalate it to their technical team to verify claim.0 -

Hopefully they'll be able to verify the claim manually.0 -
UPDATE: After talking to support and raising complaint, Wealthify team were able to track my link click and agreed to provide cashback
Message for future reference.
"We can see that you registered to Wealthify via the MSE link. However, later on that day you signed up to Wealthify in an entirely different session, so not directly via the link offered, and therefore the offer was not applied to your account.
Our technology can typically still pick up that you had previously selected the link if you were using the same computer and had cookies enabled. However, the lack of tracking of the offer would indicate that cookies were cleared or a private window was opened to complete the Wealthify application. This is something we cannot absolutely determine, however as stated above, we can see that you had initially followed the link and therefore taking this evidence into account, we can conclude that you had best intentions to use the link but did not follow the process provided.
Therefore, as a gesture of goodwill we are happy to honour the £50 cashback after 6 months of being invested with £500 or more. The money will be paid into your Plan up to 30 days after the terms of the offer is complete"0
