Garage outbuilding revamp

Hello
We have a garage which sits on its own in the back of common driveway near the garden. Its not huge but it has been rebuilt about 20 years ago so a relatively large car will fit with some effort.
At the moment we park on the street because it's honestly more convenient than going through the tiny driveway, circle around, etc. But it's a busy main road and not ideal for getting in and out with a small kid, actually there was a big accident a couple of days ago where our car was involved in a 4-car crash because it was parked there. Car is gone, by the way..
Anyway for our new car we want to start using the garage. The problem is that it's quite dusty and full of cobwebs. We can give it a good clean, we have indeed when we moved in, but it gets dirty very quickly.
1) is there anything we can do to stop those cobwebs appearing? I don't mind spiders living nearby in the garden trees etc but would like to avoid them inside the garage if possible...
2) we have manual roller doors. Wonder how much would it cost to put some automatic/remotely controlled doors.
