First Time Buyer - Viewing for the first time!

Check everything opens and closes eg doors, windows, cupboards,

does everything switch on / off

Any mould / signs of damp around windows, walls, especially the bathroom / kitchen.

Have a good look at the building from the outside, any cracks, signs of being repointing in one section,

any missing, slipped or replaced roof tiles

If there is, Check back inside at the same points to see if anything looks different to the rest of the room.

Another vote for just go and decide whether you like it or not, whether you can see your self living there. You'll know very quickly (I've generally known within a minute).

All the checklist stuff is for a second viewing.
