Birthday Requests not Appearing on Facebook

Hi All,


This may seem an odd one but a few people sent through birthday requests to my timeline that I accepted but they never appeared. I don't want the people to think that I deleted them, can anyone explain where they may have went?

I think you mean "friend requests", not birthday requests

People who send friend requests can submit and then withdrawn them later. That's probably whats happened, as they may have thought they had the wrong person.

You can send a friend request to them which they can accept, it doesn't matter who sends the request to set the link up.

No I got sent through some birthday greetings that I accepted but them seem to have disappeared.

Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not aware of "sending birthday greetings" on Facebcook. You can write Happy Birthday on somebody's timeline but beyond that, I'm not entirely sure what is it you're referring to?

I'm lost too. I've not come across a "birthday request". I've just searched on Facebook & drawn a blank.

I just asked the sender, they said they added it to my "birthday story" but I cannot view it at all.

A "story" on Facebook is only visible for 24 hours.

A "Birthday Story" is a specific type of Facebook "story" that is created on your birthday.

So I guess 24 hours has passed and your story has been removed.

If you've switched on a "Story Archive", you should still be able to see your "Birthday Story" in the archive.

It should still be live as the birthday was today, it just seems so odd that the messages disappears without being able to view it. I have just received another that has again disappeared.
