Don't worry about the headline, the real takeaway here is just how 'satisfied' people in Norway are with their EV's. Top place is a TM3 with 97%, and 10th place is miles behind with only 95% ;-)

Tesla Model 3 Owners Are Most Satisfied Electric Car Owners In Norway (Chart)

You can keep going down the list and EV owners remain very happy with their EVs. Several models got 5/5 scores (very satisfied) from more than 70% of respondents. Every model in the top 10 (and possibly beyond) got 4/5 or 5/5 from 95%+ of respondents.

Overall, the average across the models showed that 94% of respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with their cars — 67% were very satisfied. That’s not to say the remainder weren’t satisfied either. 3% were neither, 1% didn’t know, 1% were dissatisfied, and 2% were very dissatisfied.
The good news is that there are many electric models that owners are very happy with. The people like diversity of choice, and Norwegians (and increasingly others) have great diversity of choice in the electric vehicle market. Pick one and enjoy it!

At the moment, EV drivers are "early adopters" who want an EV and, perhaps, that criteria trumps the rest in terms of satisfaction, so the EV will score disproportionately highly compared to ICE, where people may be making do with what they can afford and didn't get what they wanted so satisfaction starts from a negative sentiment.

Plug in EV's hit 85% in June, and PEV's represent 20% of the whole fleet, so I'm not sure we can still call the buyers early adopters.

The ICE Age is coming to an end.

Yup, nice idea but not workable, imho.

Didn't the Scandi's do this years ago? No idea how the trial went.

A heavy freight trolleybus for the 21st century. I like it, it could work out well.

There's an added complication that you need a different driving licence for a trolleybus.

They would need some really good crash barriers around the poles supporting the wires. Imagine the chaos if a driver falls asleep at the wheel, runs off the road, and hits a pole.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
