Hi,
Has anyone won a case/claim against a private individual who didn't complete a bathroom/kitchen job?
I tried through my bank and they declined as txt messeges and emails where not on letter headed paper! They would not even accept the ad i responded to as evidence!
Any advice would be helpful.

Trading Standards don't take on individual cases.
If you're asking about a court claim they'll view the case on its merits, not irrefutable evidence.
"On the balance of probabilities" rather than "beyond reasonable doubt."
Essentially, whose story do they believe.0
