Best place for it or give it to the charity shop :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Before you go, see if you can watch and listen to the musical shows 'Tosca'; 'The Girl of the Golden West'; 'Madam Butterfly'; 'La Boheme'...
Puccini, who wrote all these and more, is buried in the main church in Bergamo.0 -

I was in Bergamo earlier this year. The best food we had was at the La Marianna Ristorante. Not cheap but worth every penny.Worst food was Ristorante Lalimentari in the old square which was beyond awful. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0

Apart from it raining without stop we had a decent break . thanks for all the tips . Old town was really relaxing . I'm more of a shop windower than a shopper . really nice food . Watched the match (above ) in the local irish bar with a fair amount of atalanta fans . There wasn't as much passion than my local on any given weekend . Good smallish city . Airport close and recommend getting the bus/train/ funicular tickets . cost 7euro for 3 days:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

We stayed in the new town. The old town is lovely though, so definitely go there in the evening etc.
We had a couple of meals at Pizzeria Da Nasti and it was lovely. Think they had 200 different pizza.0
