Settling a CCJ

Hi Everyone
I've been paying off a CCJ debt. I've been offered a reduced settlement figure which is obviously attractive!
However, I was hoping to apply for the CCJ to show as settled on my credit file - am I correct in assuming I can't do this if I haven't repaid the full amount?
Trying to weigh up what looks better on my credit file as well as the reduction so I'd be grateful for any advice
Thank you

It will show as “partially-settled” if you pay the reduced offer.
But that looks better than an unsettled one - but obviously not as good as a fully settled one (or indeed not having one at all).0 -
I thought that a partially settled CCJ will still be marked as 'active' on a credit file. I believe the CCJ entry is not recorded as being 'partially settled' and will in fact be recorded as active until the six years is up.
@OP - Since a partially settled CCJ is not recorded on your file, then the only way to improve how your file looks to a lender, is by paying the CCJ balance in full, so that it can be marked as 'satisfied'. Obviously you can still clear the CCJ fully by instalments too.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job0
