ooh, you've reminded me that I won a pen too, at the start of the month! I've also won a bottle of miracle gro veg food.
Highlight of last months winnings was a product of the year goodie bag. The unpacking is just as exciting as the contents - if not more 😀. It included 3 types of coffee - shame I can't drink coffee - but partner is working his way through them and has been impressed.
How are we all managing with staying in or being a key worker? I'm lucky to have a good sized garden with veg patch so have been busy outh there. Lots of weeding done and seeds planted. Housework maybe not done so much though, although I did sort out my sock drawer - oh the excitment here!
Managed to get a click and collect at Asda and was impressed with the service - even if moroccan seasoning was a bit random substitution for italian herbs. I am now the proud owner of 21 Asda shopping bags all neatly folded for future use1 -
Congrats all winners. I'm working from home. On my lunch break at the moment. It's all a bit strange, but we're ok, which is the main thing. We've got an Asda home delivery coming tonight between 8:30 and 9:30. Managed to get the majority of things we ordered, except for a few things like teacakes that we can manage without, and a few substitutions that are just different, such as ginger nut biscuits instead of rich tea, so cannot complain at that.
Take care everyone and stay safe.1 -
I am plodding on, my youngest son is working from home, he put an offer on a house which was accepted in March he was supposed to get the keys the end of April, but that has been knocked back, so I will have to put up with him a bit longer. My hubby works for Asda driving the 18 wheels, so is a key worker, he will pleased you are all getting your home deliveries even if they add a few surprises LOL xx“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel

Not done much comping but did win a book about starting school, was going to maybe gift it to my SIL, but now it's arrived I'm not sure if it's her thing, so might end up in the charity box if can't think of who to gift it to.
Not been coping hugely well over the last few days but getting there, how are you doing @manseyThank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.1 -
I've been trying to come up with ideas for a May challenge. Whilst at the beginning of the year, I had plenty of ideas in mind, such as the fishy one I set for April, but it seems that with the current pandemic, people understandably aren't really that into this challenge? Does anyone have any good motivational ideas for a challenge? Otherwise my challenge will be something like post on this thread every time it seems like it will fall off the front page, or post something on the "Let's bring out some smiles and laughter!" thread in compers chat corner. But open to other suggestions, such as games we could play etc..
I'm not very motivated to comp lately. Prizes are rarer than handwash in the supermarket.
I've been furloughed, so should be entering more, but I'm entering less than when I was working full time, but I'm well and lucky compared to a lot of people.
Hope all you challengers are well too. Take care everyone.0
