Can someone pls explain cloud printing to me

    Actually, the main benefit of a wireless printer is the ability to work regardless of its location, as long as there is WiFi coverage. Mobile devices such as tables, phones and laptops can all print to wired printers.

    I’ve never got my ipad to print to my wired printer that’s connected to a windows computer. Not that I have tried very hard.
    No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    By 'wired' I mean Ethernet, obviously if your printer is USB then it's more complicated (you need to share your printer from the computer it is connected to).

    When I say that I haven’t tried v hard, I really mean that I haven’t tried at all. I wasn’t sure that iOS would work with a printer shared on a windows pc, but it’s worth a go. I’ll report back.

    I was shocked when using an old laptop & the printer upstairs with my PC burst into life. I've no idea how I did that without trying at all!
    Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
