How to know if parking charge is dropped?

I was issued a parking charge notice by ParkingEye when shopping at B&Q and overstaying for 40 mins. I bought more than £300 worth of products from B&Q during the stay. After reading posts on this forum, I went and spoke with the B&Q duty manager who wrote down my order number on the PCN letter, kept it with him, and said he will sort it out.
How do I know if the PCN has been dropped? I also changed my address in the meantime. Will ParkingEye get my new address from DVLA and send me a letter? Or can I check online somewhere if they dropped the charge?

I believe you go on the web site as if to pay it (but DON'T) and if it is cancelled it will show zero.0

I was about to go to B&Q for a follow up when I thought of checking one last time whether the charge was dropped. And it was! The parking eye system now says : There is no amount outstanding for this Parking Charge.
