Re:- Ford Sync 3 Update

Hi there,

Hubby has just purchased a Mondeo and we are looking to see if there is an update for the Sync software.

We have put the VIN from the log book which is 17 digits long into the website to check for updates and I keep getting the message "something went wrong, please try again later".

Has anyone here had any issues please?

    I haven’t had those issues and I have recently done my Ford Focus. I have maps F8 and I can’t think off the top of my head what build it is.
    You have to do it via USB...one separate update for the build (2.6GB) then upload a file to ford to say the update was done.
    I then got another map update (25GB) to run through.

    Double-check the VIN from the V5C against that on the car, and double-check you aren't getting digits and letters like 0 and O or 1 and I confused...

    Nope, works fine. Check the vin you are entering is correct.

    Ford Sync 3 update web page has been broken for a over fortnight now, fords servers are always going down. Check out the Ford Kuga Club website .
