The prize:

The winner and a guest will stay for two nights, half-board, in a double room at Chewton Glen, a five-star country-house hotel in Hampshire. Just a five-minute walk from the beach, this charming Relais & Chateaux property offers great food and painstaking service — and featured once again in The Sunday Times Best Places to Stay guide this year.

The hotel is also home to the Kitchen Cookery School, and a one-day cookery class for the winner and their guest is included in the prize. Subject to availability, it might focus on winter warmers, classic desserts or the food of northern Italy. For extra gastronomic sparkle, Chewton Glen is offering two dinners (excluding wine) — one in the Dining Room, the other in the relaxed Kitchen Restaurant — as well as a champagne afternoon tea.

The prize must be taken between January 2 and March 31, 2020, subject to availability and excluding school holidays and the Valentine’s Day weekend.
