  • op as you appear to have the details of the person the van was sold to, nothing stopping your husband going to Court to swear an avidavit stating he was not driving the vehicle at the time of the accident as had been sold to mr x and he was therefore not in a position to drive it.

    Did anyone inform the Police of the new owner's details after you were first made aware of the insurer's claim?.
