Default coming off - how quickly can I apply for a mortgage

The default I have comes off on Friday 22nd November. I would like to apply for a mortgage straight away, can anyone confirm/recommend if I need to wait much longer for the CRA's to update their systems or should it fall off automatically on the day? I intend to apply to Barclays for my mortgage. I'm keen to get things…

It dropped off on 20/12/19 on Credit Karma, so a couple of weeks early. It was my MBNA default. It was sold to link financial, I am waiting for the Link financial entry to drop off which should be done by end of Jan.
