Wireless headphones for TV but no headphone jack

Options
I wish to buy wireless headphones for a TV, however the TV itself does not have the headphone jack.

Any ideas how/If this is possible without buying a new TV with one?

What TV do you have? Some can transmit via Bluetooth.

There should be a panel that opens underneath the screen with a jack in there

It is unlikely to have Bluetooth installed. If does not have USB or 3.5 jack, it will almost certainly have RCA (phono) output capability. You can output via this to a Bluetooth sender like this
