Changing Heating Thermostat

Hi all!

I have an old thermostat that has stopped working (doesn’t switch on / off based on temperature.

I bought a new one however the inputs for the wires are different.

Wanted some advise as to how the wires should be aligned to the new inputs or have I bought the wrong thing.

current set up( Honeywell) which has 4 wires;

Yellow and green
Blue
Yellow
Red

the new digital thermostat (Flomasta) has 3 inputs
NO
NC
COM

Thanks for all your help!

  • Current model is HONEYWELL T6360-1028.

New model is FLOMASTA 22199SX WIRED DIGITAL
  • You have provided insufficient information.

The colour of the wires is irrelevant without stating which terminal they go to on the Honeywell stat. e.g 1,2,3,4 Eth
  • Apologies I presumed colours were standardised .

Oh the Honeywell (current set up):

    1 - Red
    2 - blue
    3 - yellow
Grene and yellow (has a symbol not a number) -similar to an upside down Christmas tree)

    Cheers

    Flowmasta connections:

Yellow and green - earth, not required, isolate in a connector block

Blue - neutral, not required, isolate in a connector block

    Yellow - NO, demand

    Red - COM, live

As you didn't know that was an earth symbol, perhaps calling in expert may be a safer option .... ?
