Saving talk talk e mails to USB

Options
Talk Talk are going to start charging for e mails for anybody who like me has changed provider to another company. How do I save my e mails to a USB in case I need them. I tried google but what they suggested didnt work or I didnt understand it properly and do it correctly.

You don't say what you are transferring to, but if gmail, you can just import all the mail from the old provider.

I understand that I can forward them, as per the link shown above, all to my outlook e mail address but I wondered if I could save them to a USB by possibly emptying the recycle bin then sending the inbox to recycle and copying that folder to a USB or some other way.

If its webmail it doesn't work like that unfortunately.

The easiest solution is to set up an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird or whatever to receive your TalkTalk mails, download them all and then you can just copy the Outlook PST file or the Thunderbird profile to another drive and all your mails are there.
