Unable to cancel part of a multi-order

Tonight I've had the same buyer buy 3 different items. They've appeared as a multi-order as I have that enabled. 2 are free P&P (including the item to be cancelled) and 1 is plus P&P if it helps at all.
An hour later I got a mesage from them saying they want to cancel one of the items. I don't seem to have an option to cancel part of the sale.
Clicking on order details brings up the 3 items with only 'Leave Feedback' and 'contact buyer' next to each item - if I click on additional actions I only get these options for each one:
If I click on the individual item in the list i go to the individual item sale page (naturally) - but there is no option on there to cancel the sale of that item.
If I click on 'See all orders' I can cancel all 3 items as a single order but it seems I can't cancel an individual item within the order.
Am I missing something obvious or do I really need to cancel the entire order and relist all of them for the buyer to re-purchase 2 of the items?

I seem to remember having this issue myself, I couldn't see anyway at all to cancel one order from a combined sale.

It's done through "Send payment details", in there you can tick which items to include in the invoice, and update the postage and discounts, I last did this a month or so ago, so I hope it's still there.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
