Energy Club results List are odd
I've just signed up to the Energy club today
and am CONFUSED (I dare not say Dot anything) at the result
which offers a £100 saving by signing up to my current supplier on the same, still unexpired, fixed term contract.
How can this be?
My new confidence in MSE is a bit shaken
AND I'm astonished that my current supplier appears so near the top of the result list
It seems the reference database doesn't tally with my actual tariff prices.
The tariff name definitely did tally on the dropdown list.
I use a small supplier (AVRO Energy) to get the lowest possible price for my simple needs

1. If you're not using the default comparison on CEC, or if you're using a different PCW, the savings are illusory and should always be ignored. It's because of Ofgem's crazy rules which assume that you would otherwise do nothing and be rolled on to a mega-expensive standard tariff. Just compare the annual cost based on actual annual meter readings.
