They do for existing customers as well, which is what you were asking, which is what I was responding to...
Ok thanks. I assumed you were talking about new customers as you quoted my post about new customers.
So I think the conclusion is there's no way of telling and I should just pick some randomly to 'close'.0 -
They won't give you a 0% offer on the threat of an account closure.
It doesn't work the same way as cancelling your mobile phone or cable TV provider.0 -
Are you referring to 0% balance transfers with no fee? Many lenders will offer 0% on spending but, as far as I can see, there will always be a % fee for transferring a balance to a 0% rate. Usually between 1% and 4%.0

I have credit cards with Nationwide, MBNA and Barclaycard. Barclaycard consistently have the best offers. Usually balance transfers to 0% rate for less than 2% fee or transfer to a low rate of interest (c4%) for the life of the balance for no fee.0

I havent see a zero fee zero % interest BT offer for over 10 years.
Lowest fee I have seen with 0% interest is 1.5% so for a £9,000 balance its only £135.
If you look on the credit card section at the top of the page it lists the 2 providers that offer 0 & 0 - one is for existing only and the other is only if you get accepted....wonder if many do?0 -

That's my experience. I have around 10 cards, 999 on Experian (for those that care about such things).
Getting lots of BT offers - typically 0% for a couple of years. ALWAYS a fee, usually 3%. Sometimes a bit less, 2.5% or even 1.5% in the case of a shorter deal. Never NO fee.0 -
The last no fee 0% BT was Santander for 27 months. The other 2 I have active are 0% for 32 months with 1.4% fee (HSBC) and 0% for 27 months with 0.9% fee (first direct). I may not bother again when these finish.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
