If you receive a phone call from 02071830136 do not answer it . A company called Thornton and Baines reported Estate management and Financial services. They are very pushy and try and sell you services. Once you have answered one call they keep phoning back. Virgin Media does not have a free facility to block unwanted calls on your land line phone. I do not know about BT or others. This phone number is a Scam .Plenty of comments on various sites on google about this phone number and their unsolicited calls.

Just tell them to !!!! off then, they will likely give up if you do that each time0

My latest tactic is continuously talking when they are talking and telling them to stop interrupting me as it's rude.
Then they tend to put the phone down on me.

I tell them that I'm really busy at the moment, but to ring me back on my personal number after X o'clock - then give them another scam number (plenty of scam number warnings on the internet).
With the option of reverting to Plan B (molerat's post no 2) if they ring back.0 -
I received a phone call from this number. It was a nuisance and took me a few minutes to conclude it was a scam before telling them in no concert terms to get lost. This did not stop them phoning me 6 times over a month before they gave up. Any information regarding scam phone numbers is useful. The big concern about these type of companies is for the vulnerable and elderly.0

Just don't answer them in the first place!Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0

But i cannot resist telling them what a wonderful day i have had and bore them so much they hang up on me. Whilst they are talking to me it maybe saving another person from getting a call.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Talking only when they talk, you don't even need real words, then being silent whenever they're not talking tends to get rid of them although it can be fun to see how long you can keep them on the phone.0
