I parked outside B&M in Boston on 23rd of Augs in a disabled bay got my ticket put it in the car with my badge behind it when I came out the parking attendant was by my car he said because I didn't have a disabled disc displayied he had taken a photo of the car just that second other wise he would have let me go I showed him my badge( it had fell on the floor) he took a photo of it and said I may not hear any more. I received a letter on the 6th Sept posted 28th Augs saying I had a fine pay with 14 days or it would go up but I could appeal with in 21 days so I went to their website filled in the form and sent it off and heard no more until this morning at at 8.15 a solicitor phoned and asked me for £150.00 for the fine also asking if I owe any money to anyone what that has to do with a parking fine I don't know.We had a long talk her asking loads of Question I told her I appealed off she went said it had been turned down I asked why didn't I get told that by letter of she went again then said they didn't get the appeal ,I said I was going to get advice and go to the local papers because I wasn't going to pay that amount of money she said the call was taped and I had 7 days to pay it, i told her I want everything in writing "what do you want in writing" everything you've told me "but what bit " what you want and why "by e.mail, text or post " just post. I did take pictures of the claims form from my computer because once it's gone to them you have no record. Please can you help I have COPD and a heart condition I had a stroke two weeks ago and can't take stress as it affects my heart I'm really worried as I can't afford that amount of money. It is not a fine, it is an invoice from an ex- clamper for damages for the harm they allege they suffered when you did what you did. We call it a scam. Pay them not one penny unless a judge so orders it.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP after the election, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

FIrst, use paragraphs. You want people to read it.

This is not a parking fine.

So please - can you be clear here: You have a CLAIM FORM from the county court?
If yes - what is the ISSUE DATE?
Have you already filed a defence? Yes or No
If Yes, what was your defence?

You have *never* had a fine. its an invoice.

Please hit enter a few times to break up that wall of test so it is easier for us to read.

It is not a fine.

What is the name of the PPC please? I suspect it is an IPC member.

What happened when you complained to the retail manager/CEO/landowner?

I don't know how anyone got your 'phone number. I doubt it was a solicitor; more likely the parking scammers themselves or a debt collector.
Block the number and never ever speak to a scammer on the 'phone.

Is it possible that some person or persons unknown bounced up and down on your car to dislodge the BB?
Now who would do such a thing?
Who would gain by someone performing such a jolly jape?

Complain to your MP about this unregulated scam, or whoever is up for re-election. Tell them to sort this out if they want your vote.

Please ADVANCED EDIT (not on a phone, never use one here) and change the heading of your thread to something meaningful about the parking charge/company!

Don't know about the other regulars but I would avoid a thread that's just called 'Coralie'.

When you have done the ADVANCED EDIT and put something useful as the title (look at what other people call their threads) please then reply to answer the above questions from other posters.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

From what you say, the Parking Company or their scummy debt collector associates are trying to bully and intimidate you.

You say you took a picture of the claims form from your computer. Can you tell us the exact title of the form, please.

You have some significant health problems, I can see that stress is not good. Please work with the good people on here to sort things out. That means calming down a bit and providing some clear facts about the situation. And as others have said, write in paragraphs to make it easy to read.
