My partner has been hurt by a faulty spring/bar on my new sofa, what are my rights ? as i have never been in a situation like this before. they have said they will prioritise my repair which unfortunately is,nt for another 10 days. i have children and grandchildren in the house who could injure themselves on this, and i can feel the same thing happening on other parts of the sofa.
I have lost all confidence on this piece of furniture and my partner now has a nasty injury.

Tell your children and grandchildren not to go on the sofa.
if they are too young to understand, keep the door to this room locked until the dangerous piece of furniture is sorted.0 -

See what they say when they come to inspect it. If it’s an inherent fault they will choose to repair, replace or refund. In the meantime, don’t let anyone use the sofa if you’re concerned about its safety.0
