After a couple of failed cards, can someone recommend a card that can cope with the demands of being constantly written to?
I note many manufacturers wont warranty cards for this and security recording.

Trial and error in my experience, differs from card to card and cam to cam. Better to buy a cam with a card supplied or ask dashcam manufacturer for a recommendation.0

SD cards are cheap for a reason, they're not designed to be constantly written to, they will wear out and its classed as natural wear due to normal use of the product.
You'd do better to get a decent brand of card in the first place, like Sandisk, Kingston or Samsung, all at class 10 speeds to at least try and maximise the life time.0 -
The best type of SD card for a dash cam is one that utilises the latest MLC 3D NAND technology, and one preferably where their warranty covers dash cam use, not many do. Look around at the High Endurance cards such as the Samsung Pro range or Sandisk High Endurance, they may cost a bit more but will last longer.
Don't follow the advice above about buying a cam with a card supplied because generally these cards will be the cheapest available and will be pretty rubbish.
