Double dip parking fine Euro Car Parks

Lt23
Hi,
I hope I am OK to post, I am a newbie! I have tried to read through all the threads I can on this but have just ended up getting myself confused.
I received my first parking fine through the post for allegedly parking at Sainsburys in London Colney for nearly 12 hours. We were actually on the way up to the Midlands from Essex to visit my gran. London Colney M&S seemed like a good place to stop for a quick break and to buy her something nice to eat. We were there for no longer than an hour. We then set off again and had to sign in with my car reg at her care home upon arrival. I also have the time line tracker on my phone that has tracked our journey. We stopped off at London Colney again on the way back to pick my gran up a shawl for the following weekend and to fill up on petrol.
They have clocked me entering in the morning, not registered me leaving, not registered me re-entering later that night and then clocked me leaving again.
Do you think I have enough evidence with the time line on my phone and a copy of us signing in at the care home with my car reg?
I have also read things about the photos on the fine not being legal because there is no time stamp on them, it is just written underneath, but that's where I fell into a bit of a rabbit hole and got myself confused! I just want to appeal the fine because I was not parked for the length of time that they claimed I was.
Thank you for any responses!

this is not a fine.
You should not appeal it, instead you must give the landowner notice that they, through their agents have accessed your data without just cause, as your vehicle was not on site for the time they state, add they appear to be relying on inaccurate automated systems and it also appears that no adequate checks have been carried out.
tell them that this is a serious matter and needs reporting to the ICO, and you expect then to remove / deactivate the camerasFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Complain to the landowner, Sainsbugs store manager and CEO (nobody lower) the BPA, the DVLA, and your MP about this unregulated scam.
Sainsbugs have allowed their contractor to unlawfully obtain your keeper data from the DVLA which is a DPA/GDPR breach. They are jointly liable for the unlawful activities of their agents and they need to be told about this.
Include the comments in red from the NEWWBIES in your complaints to show what MPs across all parties think about these scammers.
Include the proof that the car left and came back later to show how the scameras have failed to capture the car twice, which is a 50% failure rate.
Ask the CEO what he/she intends to do about this data breach which could result in his/her company being taken to court.
You could also request a SAR from the scammers asking for ALL FOUR images of your car. If they fail to produce the two missing ones, complain to the ICO with proof the car left and returned, and you want to know where the other two images are and what the scammers intend to do with them.
If, and only if the above fails to get this cancelled than appeal without missing the deadline using the template in blue from post 1 of the NEWBIES.
There is currently a TV programme about this supermarket on the TV so you might want to contact the producers about that as well as warning local and national press, and social media about this scam that is penalising geniuine shoppers.
The UK Government has prohibited the use of ANPR scameras for monitoring council and local authority car parks because it is not fit for purpose. Scammers use it because the flaws it produces generates an income from people like you.

Landowner complaint first
There are 28 days to appeal the Postal notice , so on day 26 appeal it using the blue text template from the newbies faq sticky thread near the top of the forum appealing as keeper.
No blabbing about who was driving , this is not a fine so never use that confusing word , it's an invoice , same as a plumber would send you for a repair
Add a short extra paragraph stating
The driver made 2 short visits , not one long visit , tracker information is available to prove that 2 short visits were made , no breach occurred so cancel this spurious fraudulent PCN forthwith before the ICO are involved , and delete my data too0 -

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP after the election, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just to update.. I have tried to find the email address for Alex Bettison, the store manager for the London Colney car park. I phoned sainsburys and they refused to give me it saying that I need to contact the car park owner and that the store manager cannot contact the parking company to cancel these types of parking charges anymore?!!0

Send to the general store email address if one is shown on the store 'Contact Us' page, and mark it 'For the personal attention of .......'Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
