    You've boxed yourself into a corner simply due to your ability to say "thanks, but no thanks". Do you realise how ridiculous this is when you could solve it all?

    You seem to think that the only choice is telling them of your debts. Why can't you act like the adult that you are and simply enforce some healthy boundaries? Just because they're your parents, doesn't mean they have the right to know every aspect of your life.

    Tell them you are not ready to buy a home yet and you are also not comfortable with them buying one for you to live in. Be firm. If you want, you can say it's something you'll think about when you're 26.

    Your reasons are none of their business and you aren't obligated to tell them why.
