Balance Transfer card now or Feb

My interest free period on my credit card finihes mid Feb, so i need to switch to another.

My question is, should i do it now with the current offers or is there likley to be better offers in the new year....what is the latest trend.....months increasing for 0% and fees lowering, or is it the other way round.

Cheers

It depends when you wish to apply.

Apply now so you can get it done in good time and don't end up paying interest if there are any delays.

They would have to be some big delays for a balance transfer not to go through by February!

I applied for a new balance transfer card on Wednesday and by this morning the balances had gone across to the new card!

I would personally start looking in January.

I'd go for the first week of Feb if you're looking to maximise the interest free period, it only takes a few days (at most) for a BT to go through.

However, if you're planning to pay it off well before the end of the interest free period it makes no difference when you apply.
