My IPcam number 7 (yes, I have a problem) is standalone, no connecting cables. It is a cheapie direct import from China, with a large solar cell on top. It has been working flawlessly for many months, possibly a year, I can’t recall. I’m looking at it now, from 1000 miles away
Just tinkering with this one.

Back now... catching up. According to AliExpress, the camera is:
ESCAM QF260 WIFI Wireless IP67 Outdoor 1080P 2.0MP Solar Battery Power Low Power Consumption PIR Surveillance Security Camera
Cost was £58.25. I've hammered it with nmap and cannot see it has any web server, so no grabbing images with own software. Users are forced to use the manufacturer's image software, which will be fine for many people. The cam has been running for 5 months, without problem.0 -
Yi camera just requires to be plugged in to power and connects to WiFi. Use an app on your phone to see the video stored in the miceo SD card the camera uses. You will need to buy the microSD card but the camera streams the video it has in the microSD to the app so you can see on a phone or windows computer. They're pretty cheap too.0
