Be careful with group switching sites
In case it helps someone, having had a company (that I signed up to) email me with a group switching offer, make sure you check the tariff information.
My 'offer' claimed to be able to save me £81 a year, but on checking they were quoting figures higher than I was currently paying. In fact switching with them would cost me over £100 a year more than I currently pay.
I've tried to inform them, but they keep putting the error with me, some may be switching to a higher cost supplier.

First I showed them my tariff and they said I had put in the wrong tariff name
Then they said my tariff has changed and I should check it (checking it initiated the query)
So either way, the savings are actual costsToyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
It's not their fault, the utterly useless Ofgem is to blame because that's how they specify that these illusory 'savings' should be calculated. You'll find the same thing with most comparison sites although the CEC defaults to a sensible system.
Also beware of many suppliers' own websites, notably British Gas. They will give you a false quotation for E7 because they choose to make a completely arbitrary and unjustified assumption about the percentage used at night instead of asking for your actual day and night consumption.0
