0% on purchases credit cards

Hi..
I want to get a new credit card which gives me a decent length of time for 0% on all new purchases. I've been to the credit card page but I'm confused by MBNA card...'This MBNA card offers up to 26 months 0% on spending, though you need to make purchases within 60 days for them to be interest-free.'...are only the purchases made within 60 days interest free...or are the purchases for the whole 26 mths interest free?
Any help will be greatly received!
Kind regards
:)

anything you purchase in the first 60 days you can pay over 26 months without interest
purchase something after that and it will incur interest.
Probably useful for a large purchase that you want to spread the cost on.

Only purchases made in the first 60 days are 0%

Yes only purchases made within the first 60 days are at 0% which is why I would never recommend this card as a purchases card.

Although it's perfectly fine if you know your expenditures are going to be pretty much up-front and not at a later date
